Paula Colledge MS, PA-C
Paula was born in Billings and has lived in Montana for most of her life. She graduated from Pacific University with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2003. Upon graduation, Paula went into neurosurgery and fell in love with spine care. She has also worked in emergency and trauma medicine, physiatry, pain, and occupational health. Along the way, she has gained many techniques for providing pain relief through injection therapies, helping people get back to activities sooner. Paula is passionate about providing great, affordable medical care. She is passionate about helping companies with their workforce, and about responding to the needs of the Helena community.
Paula has kept up her Wilderness EMT certification and has spent 14 years traveling abroad to provide medical care for people that have no other options. She lives with her incredible husband of 22 years, and enjoys gardening, playing music and raising golden-doodle puppies. She has three talented grown children and a smart 5-year-old grandbaby. Paula comes from a large Montana family and keeps in touch with many family members through a family cabin in the Beartooth Mountains. Many of the pictures on the RWH website and Facebook page are of this area of Montana and the cabin itself.
James H. Armstrong, MD
was raised in Kalispell, Montana. After graduating from Princeton with a history degree, he taught and coached high school students, guided in Montana’s back country, then moved to Vermont for medical school.
Dr. Armstrong completed his training in family medicine at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona and then practiced both family and emergency medicine throughout Montana. He enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his children.
